When Marcus was released after a four-year sentence, he had nowhere to go and no idea where to start. Within weeks of connecting with R3R, he had stable accommodation, a benefits claim in place, and a volunteer mentor helping him navigate the system. Six months later, Marcus completed a digital skills course and is now in part-time employment. 'R3R didn't just help me with the practical stuff,' he says. 'They treated me like a person. That made all the difference.'
