R3R UK is a Northamptonshire-based charity dedicated to supporting people affected by the criminal justice system to restore their lives, reskill for the future, and rise into sustainable independence.
Our story
Why R3R exists
The three stages of every journey we support.
R3R UK was founded in response to a clear and persistent gap: people leaving prison or completing community sentences in Northamptonshire were falling through the cracks. Despite the best efforts of statutory services, the practical, emotional, and social barriers to resettlement were leaving many people without the support they needed to move forward.
We started with a simple belief — that every person, regardless of their past, deserves the chance to rebuild. That belief drives everything we do. From our first sessions at Victory House in Northampton, we have grown into a trusted community organisation working alongside probation services, housing providers, employers, and health organisations to provide joined-up, person-centred support.
Our name says it all. Restore. Reskill. Rise. These are not just words — they are the three stages of the journey we walk alongside every person we support.

We are committed to being an anti-racist organisation. We recognise the disproportionate impact of the criminal justice system on people from Global Majority backgrounds and are committed to addressing this through our practice, our partnerships, and our advocacy.
